Effective November 28, 2011, WCL products, forms and applications were turned off with 3rd party service providers. Protective Life products will remain available. Click here to view Protective Life's product list. WCL quotes/illustrations will remain available in WinFlex and Protective's ELI illustrations system. All forms and applications, including EZ-App, will remain available via westcoastlife.com and ProtectiveLifeBrokerage.com.
In January, it was announced that West Coast Life Insurance would be discontinuing new sales and Protective Life Insurance Company (PLICO), an independent brokerage distribution model, will be the focus of ongoing sales. You and your agents will have access to the fixed annuity products from Protective Life. Attached are the current West Coast Life products and their Protective Life equivalents.

Attached is a field update announcing changes to the life portfolio, effective January 1, 2012. Those changes include:
- Discontinuing the MultiChoice Indexed Single Premium Life
- Adjusting premiums on Guarantee UL Solution III
- Lowering the fixed (declared) rates on UL and IUL products.
- Lowering the cap rates on the 1-Year Point-to-Point and 2 year Point-to-Point strategies
- Adjusting the illustrated rates on IUL strategies
• MUTUAL OF OMAHA
By now, you should have seen the announcement about the Term Life Answers reprice. This product will have new lower rates effective December 1, 2011. They have positioned these new rates in the Standard, Non-tobacco risk class for ages 40-60. Read more.
